Peter  Schmalenbach

 

Born  1958  in  Duisburg  (Germany).

-  at  the  intersection  of  the  interesting  regions  of  the  Lower  Rhine  and  the  Ruhr  area  -

Grown  up  in  Ratingen  near  Düsseldorf.

 

Married  to  my  wife  Karin.

Of   course   we   are   very   proud   of   our   three   daughters   Julia,   Lisa   and   Sarah.

Life  goes  on   with  its  own  ideas,   the  family  grows,   and  the  next  but  one  generation   with

Emilie,  Hanna,  Nele,  Louise,  Leah  and  Marla  are already  practicing  to explore  the world  with their  own steps.

 

Formely  PROFESSIONAL :

Training  as  a  Physiotherapist.  Physiotherapeutic  activities  in  various  clinics  and  practices.

From February 1987  to February 2024, I  was  happy  to work  in my own practice  in Ratingen.

Since then,  I  have  been  contributing  my life  and  professional  experience  to  a  wide range

of  new  projects.

 

MY  INTERESTS :

Looking  for   and   implementing   new  creative  ways.   Collecting  and  reading  books.   From  my  earliest  youth   I  have  been

writing  poems,  lyrics  and  meditations  and  sing  my  own  songs  to  my  guitar playing.  Since  2009  regular  Readings  and

Musical   Lectures   on   selected   topics   from   life   with  my  texts  and  songs   under   the   title   "S t i l l e M o m e n t e".

This  also  resulted  in  my  contributions  to  special  occasions,   such  as  weddings,   baptisms  and  farewells.

 

BEYOND  THAT :​

 Spiritual  experiences  and  everything  that  leads  to  an  inner  contemplation.  This also  includes  the  "worldwide"  exchange

with  like - minded   people.  I  am  a  member  of  the  "Association  Médicale  Internationale  de  Lourdes"  -  A.M.I.L.  (France),

belong  to  a  "Ministers  Network"  (USA)  and  am  a Volunteer  in  an internationally operating "Global Healing Network"  (UK),

which   also   led    to   my   work    as   a   conversation   and   telephone   companion   for   encouragement   with   life   issues.

As  a  mindfulness,  pilgrimage  and  meditation  leader  I  also  offer  lectures,  excursions,  spiritual  respites  and  retreats.
